The event wants to establish the status of bringing innovation to the shop floor by highlighting robotics, automation, and disseminating Industry 4.0 concepts. See on page 14 the article “Milling of zirconium dioxide for dental products”, where German cutting tool manufacturer Kopp Schleiftechnik and Technical University Darmstadt showed through a joint research project that the use of optimized tools provided significant improvement in performance of zirconium dioxide machining. Read on page 44 the article “Influence of cutting parameters on GG25 gray cast iron front milling with ceramic tools”, research whose purpose is to analyze the influence of cutting parameters on the front milling of GG25 gray cast iron components using silicon nitride tools (Si 3 N 4).
