The June/July issue of “Máquinas e Metais” digital is online. This edition brings, on page 20, a balance sheet of “Feimec 2022”, which was carried out in a face-to-face form and brought together 900 exhibiting brands, having as highlights the digitization in the productive environment and new business models. See on page 12 the article “Influence of rolling on corrosion and fatigue of ABNT 4140 steel”, work in which the effectiveness of the rolling process in inhibiting corrosion of hardened and tempered ABNT 4140 steel (40 HRC) was evaluated, compared to only turned specimens. Furthermore, on page 34, the article “Prediction of dubious fractures in computational simulations in mechanical conformation”, showing that the use of computational simulation of conformation processes allows an analysis of the occurrence of dubious fractures during mechanical conformation, by the use of damage criteria and by the adoption of a "critical damage" for each material.
