The March issue of “Hydro” is online. The main focus of this issue, on page 20, is the special coverage on the “8th World Water Forum”, which, with the theme "Sharing Water", will be held March 18th to 23rd at the Ulysses Guimarães Convention Center and the Mané Garrincha Stadium in Brasilia, DF. About 40,000 people from 160 countries are expected to attend the event, which will have more than 300 simultaneous sessions. See on page 10 the article “Remote measurement of water meter”, showing that measuring equipment coupled with single home water meters and connected directly to the Internet favor a more rational use of water. Furthermore, on page 30, see the article “Operation management in water supply”, for assessment of the supply sector based on performance indicators that best represent the losses level and the control of the losses. This issue brings also the updates “Environmental remediation companies” and “Pressure reduction valves” buyers’ guides.
