The September/October issue of Hydro is online. The special coverage ” Fenasan 2023”, on page 18, shows the main novelties of the 34th AESabesp Technical Meeting and the 34th Fenasan – National Sanitation and Environment Fair, which take place September 3rd to 5th in São Paulo. Held in a fully in-person format, the symposium will highlight the partnership with Waste Expo Brasil, focusing on solid waste. See on page 48 the article “Feasibility analysis of turbines in water pipelines”, which studies the technical feasibility for implementing a mini hydroelectric plant (MCH) with turbine in Sabesp's Rio Claro pipeline. The project is capable of bringing an average monthly saving of 18.46% in electricity costs with just one turbine. Furthermore, on page 58, the article “Sewage treatment in rural properties – Part 1”, a work divided into two parts, which analyzes the technical, economic and socio-environmental feasibility of decentralized domestic effluent treatment systems aimed at rural properties.
