The January/February issue of “Hydro” is online. The special coverage “Solar water pump”, on page 20, shows that isolated or difficult-to-access locations, without electrical or water infrastructure, can count on the facilities of solar pumps to capture water. The kits can be applied in different segments, such as reservoirs and water storage. See on page 36 the article “Assessment of treatability of cyanide in activated sludge”, which presents an assessment of the treatability of cyanide in the main treatment stage (biological reactors), as well as the possible impacts on the quality of the final treated effluent. Furthermore, on page 44, the article “Markers for plastic water pipes”, work that evaluates the application of wire and sphere water markers in a densely occupied urban area.
