Highlights
The December issue of “Plástico industrial” is online. The article “Filled thermoplastics for led lamps manufacturing”, on page 14, describes how plastics compete with metal materials in the manufacture of heat sinks for LED luminaires and also provides a list of suppliers of resins for molding these components. On page 22, the article “Valves automatic control for hot and cold runners”, showing that the process control based on sensors inside the injection molds is gaining more and more importance due to the convenience they offer in monitoring the oscillations during the process. Read on page 38, in the special chapter “O plástico na embalagem” (plastics application in the package industry), the report “Sustainability certification for packaging”, on the creation of the "eureciclo" label, developed by New Hope Ecotech (a São Paulo based organization), which certifies that companies follow environmental impact compensation guidelines in their activities, and that they comply with the National Solid Waste Policy. This issue brings also the new “Commoditiy resin suppliers” and “Thermal fusion welding machines” buyers’ guides.
