The May issue of Plástico Industrial is online. The report “Use of plastics increases with the offer of thematic products for the World Cup”, on page 26, shows how the football world championship changes the routine of many plastics overmolding and increases the consumption of plastics for making items ranging from sport articles indispensable to the games to the most unusual leisure items. See on page 16 the article “Integrated molding is effective in the manufacture of durable components”, showing that the plastics overmolding of metallic parts allows to obtain hybrid components with a long useful life, replacing with advantage the encapsulation of inserts. Read on page 50, in the special chapter “O plástico na embalagem” (plastics application in the packaging industry), the report “Technology for the production of sachets with barrier and easy opening” and a preview of “Fispal Tecnologia 2018”, an international technology fair for the food and beverage industries.
