The August issue of “Plástico Industrial” is online. The special coverage “Connected peripherals make processes more efficient”, on page 22, shows that the peripherals integration with the main machinery establishes a communication from which better results in terms of productivity can be extracted. See on page 30 the article “Sensors allow predicting the injected parts quality through machine learning”, showing that data captured inside the injection molds can supply the control systems with valuable information about the performance of the process. Read on page 42, in the special chapter “O plástico na embalagem” (plastics application in the package industry), the news “PET film and APET tray compose salad packaging”, about a food producer located in Holambra (SP), which started to supply its line of ready-to-eat salads in trays made of amorphous polyester (APET) that are sealed with PET films developed by an American company, with an office in São Paulo (SP). This issue brings also the update “Bioplastics” and “Purging agent” buyers’ guides.
