Highlights
The August issue of “Plástico Industrial” is online. The edition highlights the “11th Brazilian Plastics Processing Industry Inventory”, on page 20, biennial survey of the machine park for thermoplastic resins processing completing 20 years, which, in addition to monitoring the technical, industrial and economic evolution of the machine park for plastics, also notes some effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on the activities of participating companies. See on page 16 the article “How the use of digital applications can benefit the manufacture of molds”, showing that, as aids in the creation of the necessary infrastructure for the customization of tooling manufacturing processes, applications can also favor faster decision making. Read on page 42, in the special chapter “O plástico na embalagem” (plastics application in the package industry), the news “Learn how the pandemic can affect the packaging design”, where it is shown that the new needs consumer in terms of health security may require changes in the packaging design, with a view to reducing the risk of contamination by contact with their surfaces.
