Highlights

The June issue of Plástico Industrial is online. The article “Technological innovations in injection molding – an overview”, on page 16, where it is shown that the plastics injection industry has registered advances in the last years that allow from the greater freedom of design to the resolution of different impasses that previously compromised its execution. See page 36 the article “Influence of the wax content in the production of tubular LDPE films”, showing that used as an additive to facilitate the processing of polyethylene, the wax is a resource that facilitates the production of films with this material. Read on page 42, in the special chapter “O plástico na embalagem” (plastics application in the package industry), the news “Bread waste gives rise to PLA films”, on the development of new packaging made with polymers obtained from organic waste generated by the food industry.
