The November/December issue of “Plástico Industrial” is online. This edition brings as a special the “12th Brazilian Plastics Processing Industry Inventory”, on page 28, survey of data on the Brazilian machinery for transforming thermoplastic resins, which monitors its technical, industrial and economic evolution every two years. And in this edition, it registers the effects that the pandemic, whose end is not yet fully confirmed, as well as international instability, caused in the sector in last two years. See on page 38 the article “Double sheet process in the manufacture of transparent parts, pointing out solutions to a common impasse in the thermoforming of double sheets: obtaining transparent parts”, which becomes difficult due to process aspects that directly interfere with the optical properties of the materials. Read on page 50, in the special chapter “O plástico na embalagem” (plastics application in the package industry), the news “Shrink film made from PCR”, about a beverage group that switched to shrinkable films made from virgin resins and post-consumer recycled (PCR) to pack packaging of one of your brands. This issue also brings the update “Thermoplastic resins”, “Dyes, pigments and masterbatches” and “Chillers” buyers’ guides, and “Blow molding companies” directory.
