Highlights
The October issue of “Plástico Industrial” is online. The edition highlights the “10th Brazilian Plastics Processing Industry Inventory by Plástico Industrial”, on page 18, biennial survey of the machine park for thermoplastic resin processing that monitors its technical, industrial and economic evolution. See on page 34 the article “Use of sensors in molds allows the manufacture of sophisticated parts”, showing that data obtained inside the mold cavities can be loaded into automation systems and taken into account in the control of production. Read on page 44, in the special chapter “O plástico na embalagem” (plastics application in the package industry), the report “Manufacturer matter invests in the development of metallized films and bets on pouches market”, where a manufacturer of polymer films has invested in the production of metallized films, offered to the market in substitution to laminates with aluminum layer for manufacture of flexible packaging.
